The Blue Bus

A thought on our neighbours to the south

And accidents happen. Combine a desperate time for a political party in a complex system, a dying medium and a rising algorithm, a few wealthy backers changing horses and a joke or two gone wrong — throw in a little international meddling, and we have the equivalent of somebody’s jackass nephew getting the corner suite in the office when they should have been fired years ago.
Since we are not truly a member of Foster Wallace’s Organization of North American Nations (O.N.A.N), to bring matters back home, we can note that Canada needn’t be seen as an insignificant player here. The highway overpass ladder to crawl back into a post-eclipse 2017 may yet prove to be found on our side of the Peace Bridge.

I have not posted in quite sometime.  Why?  Not really sure, except I find myself questioning what I have to say has any relevance.  My insecurities raising their ugly head.  Going to make an honest effort to write more.    I am also going to try not to write about my neighbours to the south, while their journey should be their own it is not.  Enough said!

I have also been struggling to take and post photographs for much of the same period and for the same reasons.  Again going to try and do more.  I look at some of the incredible photographers posting today WOW!  Simply amazing.  I also look at people in general and because of the new technologies can and do take incredible and meaningful images.  If you captured the moment then you know what you win.

I had the incredible fortune to be a professional photographer,   I bought house's, cars, motorcycles, boats, and a whole lot of booze because I supposedly had the eye.  At that point a lot of nice people stood  and declared he has talent.  The reality my  eye, was somebody else's.   A large portion of what I shot was stolen or as my Dad liked to declare "rescued" from other people.  I am not sure that this isn't the norm.  It is incredibly hard to see things in a way that makes people think.

Anyway more to follow.
